About Randi Schulze

Randi Schulze has for many years worked as a freelance journalist in a number of canine magazines. She has had her own column/page in several, among others "Vilmarksliv, "Hundesport," "Fuglehunden" and the Swedish magazine "Jakthunden." She has also had a number of important positions such as leader of the Norwegian wirehair club, leader of the Norwegian wirehair club's breeding council and leader of Nittedal dog sledging club.

Randi has been participating in dog competitions all her life. She started out with dog sleighing (in Norway we do this with skis and sleigh on snow and ice) when she was young and is former Norwegian and and Nordic champion.

She does a variety of speeches on request over different topics year round all around Norway. Today she has 4 columns in the magazine "Hundesport" and and she also writes a number of articles and series for the magazine "Fuglehunden."

Dog shows and hunting trials is also something Randi and her dogs have shown excellence in. Today Randi is a show judge, hunting trial judge and also a "tracking and water retrieving" judge. Randi keeps around 9 seminars yearly, where people bring their own dogs and learn to work with them.

Randi has written the books "Året rundt med Fuglehunden," (Year round with a pointing Bird dog) "Tispeboka" (The Bitchbook) and "Fra valp til voksen"(From pup to grown up). She has also written the pointing gundog part of Aschehoug og Gyldendals 5 books encyclopedia "Jakt, fiske, og friluftsliv i Norge" (Hunting, fishing and outdoor activities in Norway).

Delta smiling

Delta, the clever bitch who knew how to smile her way trough life is the main character in several of the stories in Randi's books. Delta had two litters in her life and experienced all possible complications, which are shared in the Bitchbook (Tispeboka).
